Cap, I got the 404 on my laptop device. But, I had already opened yesterday’s offering on my desktop in the morning, my time. The laptop I use later in the day, and it could access the page later in my evening.
The climate has been cooling, beyond the Hunga Tonga effects and the several forcings you listed today seem to indicate cooling will continue. Mr. Sun, who knows…it could flare up for a bit I suppose but as it is heading toward a cycle minimum not much in the way of additional sustained and increased energy will come from it.
Mr. Dirk has not been on for some time, telling us every volcanic activity is the immediate result of some solar flare. Perhaps that may be so but I never put much stock in it as I figured such a direct correlation would have been well documented ages ago.
PS I just had an EV access issue for about 30 minutes.
I have been watching my daily Solar Radiation from a local KY MESONET site and our average in summer was 1350+- Wm squared. Now its been hanging around 1200 – 1000 Wm Squared. AND the sky is clear but these readings are what we get. I hope it is nothing cuz if it is that low of an output by the Sun we gonna have WINYEWR SUPREME!!!
Holidaying in the UK I have been struck by the weight of berries on the Holly trees and Hawthorn hedges. At a northern wetland there were birds that only stop over while migrating south for the winter, yet it’s still September.
Does nature once more know more than we do?

That does seem awfully low, doesn’t it.
AVERAGE means there are some higher and some lower. Trying to predict a trend from one data point is pointless (except for the one on top your head).
